It is with great sadness that we share with you the loss of our family member, Ms. Afelle Petersen. Ms. Afelle was a beautiful soul, an amazing person, a fellow teammate and classmate, and a mother hen to many of us. Ms. Afelle leaves behind a beautiful family, and extended family. Please keep Ms. Afelle’s family in your thoughts and prayers. Once details are finalized, we will share them with the team. We are currently working to put something together for her and her family, from all of us. Rest In Paradise Ms. Afelle!

Hey Guys, McKinley Homes is looking for an intern from KSU to assist the Land Acquisitions team. This role is primary to assist the Land Acquisition team in the initial analysis of a potential land deal and conduct market research to identify potential opportunities. Great opportunity to learn with a growing company in the Atlanta market, that is also looking to expand into some markets out of state.

This Thursday, October 5th, from 7:00pm-8:00pm in room H323 of the Academic Building we will have our NAHB Monthly Student Chapter Meeting. From 7:00-7:30 we will discuss events happening this month for Careers in Construction month, and from 7:30-8:00 Mr. Doug Higgins from America's Home Place will be doing a short presentation! There will pizza and beverages!

Tonight the Student Chapter teamed up with KSU HFH Campus Chapter and hosted our First Student Chapter Event for the Fall Semester, The Kickball Cookout Kickoff, and it was a huge success. We played 2 games of Kickball, connected and got the Kennesaw State Construction Management to come out and meet our wonderful Sponsor Kerley Family Homes. Also a special thank you to Christy Graham for being such an amazing all around help and getting us connected with another Home Builder, and thank you Tyler Dees for getting the word out about the Event!
