Friendly reminder that applications for the 2021 Kumon Student Conference are open until April 28, 2021. This year, 100 students from the United States, Canada, and Mexico will be selected to attend the virtual conference on July 16, 2021. Kumon Parents: If your child is in 3rd grade or above, studying Level G or higher, and a platinum award recipient, they are eligible to apply. Speak to your Instructor for more information.
Meet Thanvee. She enrolled in the Kumon Math Program at 4 years old and has continued for the past 9 years. She’s currently an 8th grader who studies ahead of her grade level thanks to the skills Kumon has taught her. While there are moments when the worksheets present challenges, she has built the confidence to continue learning how to solve new problems. Due to her perseverance and hard work, Thanvee was one of under 200 students selected from Canada, USA, and Mexico to attend the 2020 Kumon Student Conference. Thanvee also credits Kumon for teaching her the importance of consistency. Practicing is an important part of success, which has helped her in activities such as dance, volleyball, horse riding, and Tae-Kwon-Do.
