We will be participating in the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty The Shelters event this year from Wednesday May 5th through Saturday May 8th!! All Humane Society adoptions will only be $25.00 for the general public!! Active military (with ID) and seniors (over age 55) will be eligible for $15 adoptions!! All dogs will be fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on all vaccinations and will already be on monthly flea and tick prevention and monthly heartworm prevention!! Clancey and Cooley’s mom unexpectedly passed away a few days ago and now these handsome boys are looking for a new home. They are used to being together, but they don’t necessarily have to be rehomed together, but would be fine going to a home with other dogs! Clancey is a beautiful boy! He’s estimated to be 2 years old, tested heart worm negative, and has been fully vetted! He has also been fine with cats in the past. Clancey has been very hesitant with people, he isn’t agg...ressive at all, he leans more towards hiding. Once he warms up to you, he is sweet and playful and likes to be near you and getting pets! He will need a little bit of leash training, but does fine on shorter leashes! Clancey loves to run and explore so he definitely will need a fenced in yard, unless an active human adopts him and takes him on plenty of adventures! Clancey is not currently in our building so if you’re interested in meeting him, please message us your contact information and we will pass it along! Cooley’s personality is opposite of Clancey, mostly because Cooley is all about people and not shy at all! He’s high energy when he first comes out of his crate but he calms down quickly with exercise and will lean into you for love! He is outgoing and spunky and loves car rides! Cooley does fine on a leash and loves to run and play with other dogs. We don’t recommend him with goats or cats, because he does like to chase, but he also won’t go out of his way to try to get to them. Cooley is estimated to be a little over 3 years old, knows sit and shake, and unfortunately did test heart worm positive and they have been giving him heart guard as a way to prevent anything new from forming. Other than that, he has been fully vetted and would love to meet you! Cooley is not currently in our building, so if you’re interested in meeting him, please message us your contact information and we will pass it along!

He is back home!! Thank you for all the shares!!! DO YOU KNOW ME??? This sweet boy was picked up on Highway 29 and has been taken to the City of LaGrange Animal Shelter. If you recognize him, please call (706) 298-3606 to bring him home. Please share; this boy is sweet, clean, (not microchipped) neutered...he must be someone's buddy!!

Sweet Ellie is a little bit of a hoarder! She LOVES to carry around blankets, toys, bags of food, bowls and treats! She is a little timid, but we think she would come out of her shell in no time! Ellie is very snuggly and walks well on a leash! She will be going to the vet on 4-8 for shot updates, her spay, and heartworm testing! As long as everything checks out, she will be available to go home on 4-9! Please call to set up an appointment to meet her!

Our big guy Dante had a big, big day today!! He found a family for himself, after being stuck in the shelter for MONTHS! Happy Tails, boy!
