The 2020 Holiday Boat Parade at Lake Lanier will be on December 12th. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend this festive event. More details to come soo...n! Update: We are actively working on the Parade Route for this year's Holiday Boat Light Parade. We plan to update everyone as soon as we can work through some items with the Army Corps of Engineers. Once that is done, we will finalize the plans and let everyone know. Thanks for your understanding and support. It's going to be a great Holiday Boat Light Parade!

Ahoy all ye Parade Members! Last night was the Captains Meeting and we had a great turnout! Thanks to all that attended and to the Twisted Oar for putting out a great buffet! - To recap the meeting - Since it is looking like foul weather is the forecast for the event, we ask that all Captains to make their own decision about braving the elements and not jeopordize the safety of their family and crew.... Our first and primary concern is the safety of everyone!! So... For those who don't wish to take their vessels out in the predicted rain and high winds, we have made the following alternative arrangements. Come join us for a Holiday Party!! All registered parade entrants (you and your crew/family/friends) can use your lanyards as gate passes to Lanier Islands on Saturday December 8th. Each entry received a two lanyards at the meeting. Each lanyard and an unwrapped toy will get a car through the gate at no charge. Once through the gate, you can tour the Magical Nights of Lights, stop by to see Santa, and enjoy dinner and drinks with us at Land Sharks! Judging will be done for those that do come by boat. We will distribute the event shirts, and have the Raffle Drawing. Weather Permitting, we will also have the fireworks display!
