REGISTRATION is NOW OPEN for Games Day. $50 per player includes brunch and full day of play. You must register individually. Landlovers membership is required to participate or purchase raffle tickets, but NOT membership in The Landings Club.All Landlovers members who play bridge, canasta, mahjong, poker, scrabble, and dominoes are welcomemen and women! Landlovers Green Thumb Club enjoys floral workshops and found a way to create one for online access which allows the whole community to view. Adrienne Williams, a retired professional florist and head of the Flower Guild of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church here on Skidaway Island, donated her time for this instructional workshop, where she created 4 floral arrangements. St. Peter’s generously donated use of their streaming facilities and volunteers for assistance. (COVID-19 protocols were strictly followed with only 4 people in the building. Only the person speaking is not masked and is widely distanced from the others.) Adrienne is happy to answer any questions you have as you watch the videos. Volunteer for the Salvation Army Kettle on Skidaway Island! Please help us ring for The Salvation Army with masks and appropriate social distancing. In this year of the pandemic, there will be plenty of people in need, so please sign up to ring the bell and man the kettle to help your fellow Savannah neighbors. You may volunteer for one-hour time slots at The Village Walk Pharmacy on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays during the period November 27th - December 24th. We are working with a local auction house for the period leading up to the 2021 Flea Market Intake. They handle more than just furniture, they also take rugs, household items, jewelry, collectibles, appliances, cars, motorcycles, boats and more. Make your donations now! Just email [email protected] and we will put you in touch with a local auctioneer, ...who will come to your home and collect those unwanted items and haul them away. All proceeds collected from these items at their weekly auction will benefit the Landlovers Foundation! A win/win for all! We can provide donation receipts at the time of pickup. Please note that Flea Market Sale Day for 2021 has been moved and is now scheduled for Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 9-1. The Flea Market is held annually and continuing COVID 19 developments may force us to again change or cancel this event. We’ll keep updating the public.
