Update on the new leased hayfield. Coming along good. Lots of rocks to get up.

We will need some help planting some hayfields/pastures this year. Not a lot of work just a couple of days in May and June but we will pay in cash. Duties will include keeping a planter fed and loading a sprigger with a pitch fork on fields we don't have a loader available. Anyone interested will need transportation and be drug/alcohol free. Anyone interested send us a message and we will get back to you.

All the bermuda fields are greening up nicely but this tift 85 is taking off like a rocket. 5 cutting this year? Maybe.

Our farm was spared by the storms last night. The little town of Franklin that we live in and the town to the east of us, Newnan both took direct hits. Please pray for everyone who was affected by these storms.

We have about 1/2 a steer left for our May processing date. Get it ordered before it's to late. The processor we are using is running about 2 weeks from drop off until the order is done.

Raining days are good for doing maintenance on equipment. Hay season is coming fast.

We have green on the bermuda fields for the first time this year. Really early for Tift 85 to be greening up in our area, planning on a frost to burn it some.

First calf of the year and it's a bull. Pretty boy.

After 2 hours of working on the plow we are finally breaking ground on the new lease.
