Lanier Holiday Chapel

It’s about that time folks! The Lanier Holiday Chapel will hold our first service of this season on Sunday, May 2, 2021 beginning at 9 am. For those of you who have never visited with us before, consider yourself invited! If you’ve attended before, come on back! We are an open air chapel sitting on a hill at Holiday Marina on Lake Lanier, overlooking the lake. We are nondenominational and welcome everyone. Come as you are and bring the family and your dog. You will find f...riendship and acceptance here as we share the word of God. We meet every Sunday first of May til the end of September. Come a little early for coffee and fellowship. As you look out over the lake and watch deer walking in the surrounding woods, you will feel a calm sense of peace and happiness. We hope you’ll make plans to join us in our 2021 season!

Holiday Lanier Chapel operates from the first Sunday in May through the last Sunday in September. We hope you will join us when services resume in May 2021.

2020 season is a wrap. Our message today was about faith. Things might be a bit scary right now, but in these times we have a great opportunity. We can make fearful times strengthen our faith, so that we can be what God created us to be. Last night after cleaning to be ready for service until after our potluck to finish the season felt a bit bittersweet. God be with you ‘till we meet again!

We needed a jacket this morning! The brisk breeze wasn’t seen, but we really felt it. God might not be seen, but with confident faith we know without doubt that God exists. The change in seasons is just one affirmation! We must put our faith in the one that holds our future. Amen, so be it.

We were blessed with Gabriel’s message this beautiful morning! He shared that we can do all things with Christ and not to fear. Christ handled fear and anxiety on the cross. Gaberiel also said that we should be the answer to someone’s prayers. That’s a good thing to be.

Clark said: This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad!! Today is a day to do good in the name of the Lord. Great to be together worshiping this morning. Such a blessing!

Wonderful cool morning to worship outdoors!! It’s difficult to understand how very much we are loved by our father in heaven and his son. That love is such a blessing! Thanks for reminding us Steve.

It was wonderful to worship outdoors together today! Clark shared from 1st John this morning. John was actually with Jesus, so he knew how much Jesus loved us because John saw it firsthand. Reading 1st John sounds like a great idea.

We were blessed to have Steve Snow with us this morning. So Happy to worship together! Doing what God wants us to do pleases God. That’s more important than even good works.

We had a beautiful morning of outdoor worship today at Lanier Holiday Chapel. Non-denominational worship service at 9 am Sundays First of May til the end of September. All are welcome. Located inside Holiday Marina in Buford.

Our worship service today reminded us that God has a plan. That’s always good to remember. Our 2 legged & 4 leg attendee’s enjoyed worshiping together.
