Chef Simone Concas is a native of Sardenia Italy, an island in the center of the Mediterranean. Not only does he speak 5 languages fluently, but he has also wor...ked in many different countries in and outside of Europe. The Food and Beverage industry was his family's business. Chef came to the United States in 1994. During that period of time, he worked at many different high profile restaurants and Country Clubs- such as Il Pasticcio, working with the personal Chef of Jacqueline Kennedy, as executive chef at Haig Point Country Club on Daufuskie Island, The Wilmington Island Club, The Landings Club on Skidaway Island and Belfair Country Club on Hilton Head Island. Chef also owned his own restaurant, Bistro 356. He worked as a contractor for Gulfstream Flight Safety International as a Catering and Culinary Instructor. Chef Simone also had the incredible opportunity to work with many actors, actresses, and politicians all around the world. He even had the pleasure of having the in-flight personnel of Air Force One in his class. He is VERY excited to have joined team La Scala...and he’s about to take authentic Italian food- and La Scala to the next level! Stay tuned for his new menu to be released April 27th! See more

Please join us for our First Friday event on Friday, November 6th, in our courtyard to support local charities and vendors! There will be fresh oysters, campfir...e cannolis, wine and music as you enjoy a taste of our amazing city. Local artists and crafts people will have their goods on display for purchase, a great way to get ahead of Christmas shopping! If you are interested in coming please consider bringing any blankets, clothing, all of those saved up sample toiletries and the like that you have been meaning to get rid of for donation to our local charities. If you can spare canned goods and/or seasonings, there will be representatives from our local food banks to accept anything you might have to offer. If you are not comfortable coming to the event but you have a donation please reach out to us via messenger and we can help you make your donation.
