Lasky Cooper Law 07.11.2020

The medical malpractice trial team at Lasky Cooper Law had an extraordinary day in Bibb County today. After 5 years of hard work and stalled negotiations, attorneys Jeff Lasky, Daniel Justus, and Caitlyn Clark alongside paralegal Rachael Currie pursued a case for a client in a jury trial this week in Macon, Georgia. After asking the jury for $2,000,000-$5,000,000, the jury returned a record-breaking verdict of $12,500,000 in favor of our client! The teamwork and dedication that our team put into this case showed in the insurance policy-popping verdict. We believe in our cases, we believe in our clients, and that’s what makes us Lasky Cooper Law: Trial Lawyers for the People. #getreal

We are proud to practice law for the best clients in the world and within the best judicial system in the world. Without our Declaration of Independence, the ensuing Constitution that followed, and the great minds that brought it to be, we would not be able to do what we do today. We humbly remember those who gave their lives and the families of those who did in order to ensure our independence in the 244 years that followed the signing of our hallowed Declaration of Independence. Happy 4th of July! Have fun and stay safe!

Though we hope you’re honoring the shelter-in-place directive issued earlier this week, we realize people do have things that require them leaving their homes on occasion. The City of Savannah has lifted parking fees on all on-street parking spots to aid in that. Remember that we are all in this together, and we will get through this together. #staysafe

Savannah Mayor Van Johnson has issued a shelter-in-place order for the incorporated Savannah municipality. Our offices will continue to run remotely, so if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us, and we will be sure to get back to you. Everyone please heed the warnings issued by our government and help Savannah to #staysafe.
