Lighthouse will offer a different type of Open House for 2021. We believe changing our format will allow us to meet the scheduling needs of our current and prospective families better while still allowing in-person visits to the school house. The building will be open from 3pm - 6pm on Tuesday, March 23rd and Friday, March 26th for drop-in visitors to tour the school, pick up information, ask questions, and turn in application and registration forms and fees. We are looking forward to this opportunity to serve our current Lighthouse families and get to know new families interested in Lighthouse Classical Academy! For the safety and comfort of all, we ask that attendees please wear masks while in the building and practice social distancing.

It's been a fantastic year, and we're "moving and shaking" behind the scenes for fall! Open House is self-paced and appropriately distanced this year, on TWO dates: Tuesday, March 23rd from 3 - 6 pm, and Friday, March 26 from 3 - 6 pm. Spread the word!! More fun hats from our online classes yesterday! Some of them were homemade - including a top hat inspired by Marie Antoinette, and a molecule, in a "tip of the hat"* to their science studies right now. Loving all the creativity! #TribeLCA * pun intended :)

Our kids are taking this "shelter in place" business like the rock stars they are! Today was Hat Day for American History - so fun to see everyone bring a splash of personality to distance learning! We love our students! (Last names removed since this is a public page.)

Like many other schools, Lighthouse has followed the recommendation of our Governor and the health officials and temporarily halted face to face instruction due to COVID 19. As a result, we are postponing Open House indefinitely. We are working on a virtual Open House as well as online registration capability for the upcoming school year. Stay tuned here and on our website www.lighthouseclassical.com for updates. Thank you for your patience!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are postponing Open House to March 17th from 4 - 7 pm. This year it will be set up as a drop-in event, so feel free to stop by any time during those hours. We hope to see you there!

2020 Open House Our annual Open House will be held March 12, 2020 at 7:00pm. This is a great time to visit the school, get an overview of what we’re all about, meet some of our instructors, ask questions, and start the application and registration process for the 2020 - 2021 school year. We will have next year’s schedule of classes, application and registration forms available at Open House. We hope to see you there!

CONGRATULATIONS to our very own Anna Fe! Today she was awarded the prestigious Bessie Willingham Tift Scholarship by Mercer University!
