LeConte-Woodmanston Rice Plantation

Volunteers pose with over 600 camellia airlayering collected from the childhood home of Lois Groszmann. The airlayerings will be potted up and added to the LeConte's camellia collection or sold to raise funds. There were several rare camellias gathered from Mrs. Groszman's garden.

Volunteers stand infront of a buckeye tree that is larger than the current GA recordholder. The tree is located in Waycross beside the childhood home of Lois Groszmann. LeConte volunteers have been working to preserve the over 250 camellias located on the property.
