What is your happiest childhood memory? I remember building a fort in my backyard when I was a kid. It was made of leftover bricks from our family home addition an old carpet remnant and plywood serving as the roof. It was my kingdom made in my vision and with the details I wanted. Looking back, this was probably my first step on the path to a career in real estate, but who could have known that then?... If you really take a look at your life, the skills you need to create more income and a more comfortable life have probably always been with you. What are some you can think of right now? See more

Long Term vs Weekend Rentals: Can they coexist? The short answer: Yes! When searching for a property, consider homes that may work as both. Having a long term renter guarantees income while weekend visitors keep you in the know of what tourists are looking for, helps your host ratings (that matters!) and boosts your income.... Consider homes with in-law suites, finished basements or a multi-level home with separate entrances. Ready to find your perfect rental? Drop a in the comments and let's talk! See more

I began working a corporate job because that's what I was taught. It's just what we did in my family. I think most of us got a version of the same story. Go to school, graduate and get a "good" job. Work for 30 years, retire, get your pension and enjoy life! I followed the blueprint and was suddenly let go after 24 years but with no retirement. It took a minute for me to wrap my head around the reality that I had dedicated myself to a company for so many years ...and now retirement was no longer an option. Gratefully, two years earlier, I'd already begun the process of eliminating debt, and was not fully relying on this "job" to sustain me. I want to help you do the same. Tap the contact button on my profile and let's take a serious look at getting you to a debt-free retirement. See more

Use what you have to get to where you want to be! I was deep into financial debt early in my adulthood with no clear path to paying it down. I had a car payment, student loans, business debts, a mortgage - you name it, I had it. Between monthly charges and interest rates, neither my 9-5 or side hustles were doing much to scratch the surface of clearing it. Then I was laid off from my corporate job of 20+ years and I knew it was time to think outside the box.... I transitioned to a career in real estate and researched how I could utilize Airbnb to generate more income. I cleaned and refurbished the unused space in my basement, took some nice photos and listed myself on the app. Before I knew it people were requesting to stay! In three years I was able to pay off the mortgage and all of my other debts. Look at what you have, how can you life-hack your way into financial freedom? Let's talk in the comments! See more
