Tennis is thriving at LBC! We have lots of news and updates to share! ALTA Spring Rosters are due January 20th! Members looking for teams should reach out to captains listed on our website. Did you know you can play in 2 ALTA leagues in the same season? For example, you can play Thursday Women and Sunday Women. Teams specifically looking for additional member players are listed here:... ***A new C-level Women's Thursday morning tennis team is forming for the upcoming Spring ALTA season, and we have a few open spots on the roster. Junior Tennis News: Four Junior Teams Planned for Spring Matches in March and April We are currently recruiting for four Junior ALTA teams that will play matches in March and April. Contact the following captains with questions: 12U Boys Tom Doolittle [email protected] 12U Girls Maria-Elena Jefferds [email protected] 15U Girls Stephanie Creel [email protected] 15U Boys Scott Boehringer [email protected] "Open" Tennis Instruction Available in January will give rise to ALTA team practices - ***Monday/Friday 4:00-5:00 PM (beginners thru age 12) and 5:00-6:30 Intermediates (ages 10-15) - Coach Courtney Allen ([email protected]) ***Tues/Thursday 4:30-6:00 PM (all levels age 8-12) - Coach Bryan Shepherd ([email protected]) 12U Intramural Team Matches on Saturday afternoons in January Week 2 of 12U practice matches were held on January 2, with 13 girls and boys playing singles and doubles. These "intramurals" are for new ALTA players getting familiar with the ALTA team match concepts. Come check us out between 2:00 and 5:00 PM on Saturdays. New Boys 12U ALTA Team Practices Adding to Junior Development Opportunities: Growth in the Junior ALTA program will accommodate at least 10 new boys players under the age of 13. Practices for 12&Under boys are scheduled for 90 minutes on Tuesdays/Thursdays (4:30-6:00 PM) starting January 12. The team is coached by Bryan Shepherd of "Bryan's Racket" (look it up on Facebook). Bryan has been teaching families and junior groups at LBC for a few years. Contact Tom Doolittle, the boys team captain at [email protected] with questions.

New ReserveMyCourt Release: Last Friday, December 4th 2020, at 12 noon, our current tennis court reservation system ReserveMyCourt (RMC) moved to a new system. Tennis Reminders: - Sign in your court at the main pavilion prior to taking the court. ... -Please don't forgot to cancel reservations not needed so other members can utilize the court. - Make sure to lock the bathroom door when exiting. If the keypad lock doesn't work, a key is located in the lockbox.

LBC dues are payable on January 1st of each year. Invoices have been sent out via email. Please let Gabriela know if you did not receive your invoice via email. You are welcome to pay fully or partially at any time during the year, either by sending a check or by Venmo. Thank you to the 20+ members who have already made their membership payments!...
