Check out these adorable photos of our students wearing their crazy socks! Have you heard of the #socksonchallenge? It is a challenge started in August 2020 by a local Athens family to benefit the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation. We’re hoping these photos of our sweet students’ crazy socks have inspired other schools, classrooms, and businesses to join the challenge and support this important cause. If you’d like to participate too, here’s how: 1) Put on your absolute craziest socks, ones that really draw attention, gather your family, classmates, coworkers, and/or friends, and take a picture (or several ). Be creative! 2) Post your picture to Facebook and/or Instagram, and tag @#socksonchallenge. 3) Tag a few of your friends to post a picture with their crazy socks on. 4) Like the #socksonchallenge page, comment, and share! This month we celebrate 11 amazing years serving the Athens community! Happy Birthday, Lifespan Montessori!

As we wrap up our first week of being open since we closed in mid-March, we would like to take this time to thank our director, Ms. Jasmyne Willingham. She has made our transition to re-opening as seamless as possible, and we don’t have the words to adequately express what she means to us.
