Hello!! Miss us?? What a whirlwind of emotions and events. We will be having class this week. ... Our Lionhearts Homeschool Fitness is in full force and doing wonderful. We will not be continuing Spring Camp because of grief and getting our affairs in order. We had lost a week, due to being out of town for the memorial. We will be having Summer Camps and we have some events coming up. We have Clean Catoosa 2021 coming up. We are already registered to help. We will be cleaning the area of Camp Jordan Park that we adopted through Water Ways at the first Clean Catoosa event. We now participate every year. I will have that information up for you this afternoon. Everybody will get a T-shirt and some gifts. It will be a great time for us, for our families, to do our community service for Lionhearts Fitness and our community. We have races OCR and endurance races coming up as well as AMNW auditions. I hope you are ready for them! We are excited. We are doing a lot of fundraising at this time, to help keep our doors open, pay our bills and to afford all the races. We will be discussing that this week also with a flyer for you to hand out to the corporations around your family and friends. We have many mentors coming, please support them and bring your children to meet som of . the best OCR athletes in the world. As one must have noticed, other than candles, prayer and incense, the strongest motivator for me (and our son,) would be Lionhearts Fitness and the amazing OCR ...world and community. This past weekend we were blessed to be sponsored by OCR OVERLOAD and guests of our friends More Heart Than Scars. We got muddy, wet and chilled to the bone and felt all the great things we miss about OCR. We brought this back with us in training at the Center too. What a great shot in the arm it was. Phoenix Race OCR created and ran by Race Director Julie White Wolff and builder and designer Jason Phy is headed into their first OCR Season. We are very excited about this, because it was solely because of them that Lionhearts OCR had races in the crazy year of 2020. OCR Luccketta was able to get extra races in, but he was participating in 24 hour events. It was a very hard year for all, my musician friends (arena tours,) OCR athletes and Pros, Athletics, and most of all our YOUTH! Lionhearts will always be grateful for Julie. She worked with other companies and made things happen in the worst of conditions, including hurricanes and pandemics! She was under the business of others and could never guarantee a race. She has brought those experiences, her wisdom and strength and offered a "NO CANCELLED guarantee" of her Phoenix races. Lionhearts will train hard for these races and will attend as many as we can in our area. We will try and charter busses to further locations. Sign up through us and we will register the team with the Race Director. Let us know ASAP We will be at Spartan at the end of the month, but they already cancelled the Youth Races. We are an adult and youth team and facility. I am often blessed to photograph at these races. It is a hobby. All photos from the OCR Overload are now available for free download. I have, literally, hundreds and do not post all of them on FB or IG. You will need to rifle through them and let your friends know. i didn't know many of these racers, please tag them. I will be photographing at Phoenix Races also, (when not running with teams.) Look for the camera and smile! It's been some of the hardest moments of my life. This helps me keep on, keeping on. How about a certified drone expert? Thanks to Julie White Wolff and her RD genius , Andrew Keller was our amazing photographer at her Scenic City Mud Run event. We got the absolute best photos and video of our Lionhearts Fitness Lionhearts OCR team and families. Yes, I am a photographer and have photographed the very best athletes, musicians and such, but I am a hobbiest. Portrait Photography-shell's Photography and shell's Photography and In The Potter's Hands I am also a graphic designer and author by trade, as well as music biz stuff. (Lionhearts is my philanthropy efforts -all in one club. ) Andrew got his license to work as a drone operator and needed a logo for his new business. I was happy to design one for him, especially after using all the beautiful work he has done for Lionhearts. My website is filled with his photos, as is the Scenic City Mud Run. What better way to celebrate OCR Luccketta 's 17th birthday than a party with his favorite people? DECEMBER 10th 2020 This was on his wish list of 5 items. The ...others were: family, hugs from our dog and a blanket statement of "presents." So, the Lionhearts Fitness families and community it is! The youth/teens will party like the Lionhearts they are and the parents will be treated to an amazing, much needed, time with wellness experts. We are having a wellness clinic open to all. Our Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce is chockful of amazing resources and we are taking complete advantage of this. Our Homeschool Program is from 2PM-4PM with experts on hand. 4:00PM-8:00PM Wellness expert Loretta Lynn owner of Beyogafull, Heartful You Yoga will be starting us off, in the Spa Room with consultations and Q&A She will have holiday wellness gifts for sale too! Dr J. Patrick McCarver of McCarver Family Chiropractic will be arriving at 5:00PM to speak with the youth and to help answer any questions you might have. Cheryl Howe of NeoLife will be on hand with an amazing product and information on better eating and health. Masks and social distancing are mandatory. The youth will be busy in the Lionhearts Fitness Center Lionhearts OCR gym as the Parents and friends will enjoy the benefits of Q&A and consultation from McCarver Family Chiropractic, Loretta Lynn and Cheryl Howe, in the SPA and receiving areas. We have some physical therapists joining us and we hope to have them on hand for the clinic. We are still looking for a massage therapist, licensed in GA We will start with some introductions to wellness, for the youth, as our guest speakers educate and mentor them for a few minutes. ALL are welcome. As always , there will be no fee. Donations, are always welcome. We will be providing meals, please RSVP through the EVENTS page.
