If you missed out on our fig cuttings last weekend we’ll have more for sale today and tomorrow. Please send us a PM if you’re wanting to pick some up this weekend so we can get you scheduled for pick up. These fig cuttings will be sold as bundles of 10 for $10 and are our excellent English heirloom variety. If you want a bundle of our larger, Kadota fig cuttings, please let us know and we can get those for you.

Fig cuttings for sale! If you love our figs here’s your chance to grow your own and save a bundle. The cuttings are for our smaller, super sweet English heirloom variety (if you want our larger, Kadota variety please let us know- we can take cuttings of those as well). Cutting bundles are $10- you’ll get 10 primo, 1 year old growth cuttings. We’ll also be selling rooted fig plants later this summer, but they’ll be quite a bit more expensive. ... Reminiscing on some 2019 kidding highlights like that time Trixie smuggled a couple basketballs into the barn (she kidded that night, of course, with triplets) but Dany took the gold with quadruplets. We’re hoping this year for Dany’s sake she’ll only have 3 (or fewer). We had 15 kids total that year and we’re expecting around 25 this year.

Our goats have been hard at work clearing up the blueberry field this winter! They’ve done a great job cutting the grass, weed eating between bushes, and light pruning while adding a little fertilizer to the field. The first picture was taken late November and the last 2 were taken this morning. It takes a lot of good fencing, but we’re very happy to be able to utilize our goats by rotating them all over our farm and homestead. #naturallygrown #longshot_farms #dairygoats #homestead

Our larger, Kadota variety of figs are starting to ripen now, so now when you order or reserve figs you’ll receive a combination of these and our smaller, Old World variety that we’ve been selling. They’re not all this huge, but they’re definitely bigger than our others!

Our figs have been selling so fast that I’ve hardly had a chance to post any extras for sale! We finally have 10 extra lbs that are up for grabs for pick up tomorrow or this evening. Available pick up times: Today (Friday)- 5:00 pm Saturday- 12:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm... Please send us a PM if you’d like to pick any up this evening or tomorrow! Figs are $5/lb or 5 lbs for $20.
