She said they didn't have any pictures together and his mom gave her a mini session for her birthday so we met up and I enjoyed my time with them! I got to know Emily better and she got to know me better as well. I actually taught Tyler in K5 so I have watched him grow up. Once we started taking pictures things went very smoothly and we found we worked well together. They had become engaged shortly before our scheduled appointment so she had in mind to use these pictures... for save the date cards! Awesome idea! You know how as a mom you are never in the pictures, and how your own family rarely takes family pictures.... well, I did snap a few of Charlie (first grandchild) but they were not the formal pictures most take. This was round two for newborn pictures for this family. The first was Sebastian about three years ago and now Ben has joined the family. Ya'll he has red hair and the sweetest face you can imagine. His mom is one of the best around and I am so proud for her and her family now numbering 4! Welcome to the world Ben!

Another from the mini session Saturday... I photographed them in a smaller version a few years back but this year there were new faces and more smiles! They told me that the rain would not bother them in fact they would like a few in the rain! So we did! I enjoyed meeting Christine and her kids as well as seeing Cotton and Daniel. Good time spent photographing a family I feel sure had some awesome holidays together!

The mini session Saturday back in November went so well! Including these two adorable girls. It has been a few years since I have snapped their pictures and it was so much fun to see how much they have grown and changed in that time. They may be family but these girls are some of the best around! Except one tiny flaw...their parents are raising them to be Florida Gator fans.... Regardless, I love how these turned out!

I helped teach their daughter in K5, so we go back quite a few years. Now she is almost done with her education major! Their son is a a senior this year and ready to fly the nest. I love when I have an established friendship with a client! It just doubles the pleasure in spending the time and extra effort with them to get exactly what they were wanting from their portrait sessions! Love these in this album!

If you ever see him push through a defensive line for five more yards, see him play both ways to exhaustion because it may be the last game, that is Dante. He has grit and strength. He wanted to wear his letterman in some of the pictures because it means something to him. If you head over to the Facebook page you can see another shot we did with a picture of his grandfather that passed away in the last few years. It sits in his truck where he can see every day. He asked to pu...t it into a few of his pictures. I love that he knew he could ask and we would get what he wanted in the pictures. I mean it when I say I enjoy the time spent with each one. They are not clients anymore. They are friends. This guy usually doesn’t let the days go by that he doesn’t come and say hello.
