Congratulations to GHRS Georgia House Rabbit Society on the sale of their old building! They are now in a much larger building in Kennesaw and can house and care for more bunnies. If you don't know what Georgia House Rabbit Society is, they are an amazing nonprofit organization that helps rescue & care for abandoned house rabbits. Many people adopt a rabbit without knowing much about their care or what is involved. Many pet stores and breeders do not pass on accurate care i...nformation and the poor bunnies end up suffering because they're not properly cared for and sometimes even abandoned to fend for themselves in the wild, which is a death sentence for a domesticated house rabbit. GHRS rescues as many rabbits as they can (and now even more because of their larger shelter), they provide care to abandoned, injured, or ill bunnies and then find a foster home or sometimes the fosters homes fail and they end up permanently adopting them. The crew at GHRS has some of the biggest hearts ever. Each and everyone of the volunteers are such wonderful caring souls and even though challenges arise when trying to capture these poor frightened bunnies, they rise to the challenge to help each and every bun they can I am grateful that they entrusted me with the sale of their old shelter and I look forward to seeing them grow in their new home. https://www.facebook.com/GeorgiaHouseRabbitSociety/ See more
