Refunds Update 9/23 Part 2 I went and reprocessed 116 refunds today and starting getting a weird error message. Called tech support and was on the phone for 3 hours and spoke to 2 techs and 1 engineer. Apparently no one has attempted to do a refund like this in QuickBooks. The engineer I spoke with was a 16 year vet and he's never seen on like this. In essence, there's no easy way of doing this. There is a daily limit on refunds of $10k. So I'm at my limit today. I'll proce...ss more tomorrow. Also to clarify, IF you paid online with echeck I cannot reverse those to you. You'll have to reach out to me to arrange a method of refund. Refunds Update 9/23 Finally found some help from Intuit. I have spoken to 5 people over the past 2 days and finally got someone that would listen and investigate this matter. Essentially the refunds I put through on Thursday were rejected due to high volume. There's 400+ transactions and I sent them through in batches of 20 as quickly as I could. This may have messed the system up. So today I'm going back and processing these one at a time. She has placed a note on my account about the high volume coming through and I have called my bank about the high volume. It's not everyday this number of transactions get reversed. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this matter.

Refunds update: I was able to get a supervisor with Intuit today. She said that refunds can take anywhere from 3-5 banking days. Tomorrow will be day 5. If you did an electronic check online it could take up to 7. I submitted the refunds Thursday so day 5 is tomorrow. I know that everyone is ready to get their money back, believe me I am ready for this to be over. To kind of touch on a few FAQ:... I can't refund you cash if you paid online because the refund process has already started. I'd have to trust everyone to bring the 2nd $85 back. Also, the total of this refund is around $34,000. I do not have that kind of cash, nor could I get it. I can't write a check because their were around 400 transactions to refund and I don't have that many checks. Also, everyone would have to bring the 2nd $85 back.

Update on Refunds: I have sent in all of the online transactions to our processor, Intuit, yesterday. I reached out to them today and the rep. said it should be back in your accounts by Monday. There was a processing issue that some accounts were billed double. That was system wide and affected all Quickbooks accounts. They have my account on their list and are working on returning that double charge.
