Talk About It Thursdays-Money! It makes the world go 'round; however, it also is the root of most of my divorces. Words of Wisdom Wednesday: I recently read a quote and I thought it was sheer genius. It said because you were miserable married doesn't mean you can't divorce fabulously. My take away was that if its broken fix it...there is no shame in moving on if you have done all you can and it doesn't work. I don't encourage any one to get a divorce, I usually ask my clients if they have attended counseling and if so is there any other solution other than dissolution. Tip Tuesday: Don't be so wrapped up in your life that you refuse to help others! Every time I see an accident...I stop to offer my help. Yes, I am a PI attorney but first I am a concerned citizen. I have stopped and helped with a broken nose, a man ejected from a vehicle, and most recently a six car pile-up. The father of someone from the six car pile-up called me yesterday (I let his son use my phone to contact him) and said thank you! A simple "thank you" means more than you will ever know. Just left court with a client and her child's father who is a former NFL great and its sad the lengths some will go to to avoid paying child support. Hopefully the Judge saw through his tomfoolery!
