(Just A Thought......) When was the last time you have taken a nice portrait with your loved ones? Like a Hey everyone! Let’s look our best and get some nice portraits done. But then I thought,... Self: Let’s go somewhere cool. Let’s take some nice portraits and then let’s have some fun together. Just for a short time out of our crazy busy lives. And then I thought...... Let’s get someone to document that event and then to top it all off, let’s print those portraits and hang them all over our house in some freaking awesome looking frames. I want to be surrounded by the smiles and memories of my loved ones. I want to be inspired by them and encouraged by them. I hope, since many people gathered today for parties, that many of you at least took a picture with your loved ones. I realized that I haven’t really taken a lot of me with my family, lately. Except for the ones in Savannah recently. That is going to be something that will be on the top of my to do list. Watch and see. (Just a thought......)

So I met with a new client the other day for the first time. I had just finished shooting a home and went and met with her afterwards. Needless to say, I didn’t pay any attention to how I looked. When I left home that morning I had looked nice. Once I got home my family were joking and asking me if I had a rough day because my hair was looking like a hot mess. Lovely. Just lovely.
