FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Water Meter Customer Portal The City of Lyons is excited to offer its citizens the ability to track their water consumption. The City of Lyons replaced aged water meters with state of the art smart meters. These meters communicate vital data, including consumption, to our system. Starting on October 1st 2020, Citizens will have the ability to log in through our Customer Web Portal and view the same data that the City Sees. Customers will also be able to set up email alerts to warn them when consumption is abnormal, or a leak is detected. These alerts can save our customers money and allow customers to monitor their usage more closely. To take advantage of this service, customers must set up an online water account by visiting the Cities website and clicking on online payments. If you have an active online account, log in and view the data as it is already available. An instruction video is available on our website to walk customers through the process.
