Here's what you need to know before you go - tomorrow's workout with Pure Barre! Pure Barre Macon will lead the workout. Please be sure to bring your own mat to participate. We encourage you to bring your own water; however, we will have bottles available for purchase should you need. Following the conclusion of the class, we will have Hawaiian mimosas available to enjoy! Arrival:... Please plan on arriving around 9:30AM to check in for the class and get your spot. Class will start promptly at 10:00AM. All spaces will be socially distanced and we ask that you wear your mask upon entry and until you settle in your spot. Parking: Parking is available along Cherry St. between First and New Street. Parking is also available along New Street behind the City Auditorium. These spaces have a two-hour limit, but do not have meters. Metered spaces are available throughout the downtown area if you prefer. Rain or Shine: This class will take place, rain or shine. With the weather cooperating, we will host the class outside on the Cherry Street Patio of the Macon City Auditorium. However, should we encounter rain, we will move the class indoors to the floor space of the City Auditorium. MISC: Restrooms will be available for participant use, located inside the main lobby space of the City Auditorium. Masks are requested to be worn any time you enter a public space or leave your designated workout space. Non-alcoholic beverage options will be made available to those who are not 21 or who do not wish to consume alcohol. [Please bring your ID, as they will be checked to verify age]. As I digitalize my box of photos and posters, I am sharing. This is when I brought Little Richard back to Macon for his first show since he was ordered by a j...udge to leave town in 1957. This 30+-year homecoming was covered by Entertainment Tonight, Rolling Stone Magazine, CNN, and was named "Concert of the Month" by Musician Magazine. Yesterday I referenced Wet Willie being involved in some of my crazy projects. I put Wet Willie on the bill so they could do dueling versions of "You Keep a 'Knockin' (But You Can't Come In)" Jimmy Hall told me that opening for Little Richard was a career highlight. See more
