Mad Frog Gear 23.01.2021

Mad Frog Gear announces the expansion of our Nano series of accessory platforms. Early in 2013 we developed the Nano Liberator. Our super small plate, used a 1 Screwball and a stop screw (located on the bottom side of the plate), to join our TDA (transducer deployment arm) and a RAM Elite fishfinder mount. The Screwball held the unit to the track and the stop screw keep it from spinning on the track. Now we are happy to announce that we are expanding this concept with ou...r new Nano UMP (universal mounting plate). The Nano UMP can be secured to any track with standard track hardware and held in place with the same stop screw used on the Nano Liberator. This little 5 x 2.5 plate is pre-dilled to mount a variety of accessories. It has an arching row of stop screw holes, which allows you to change the plate’s orientation to the track. And with three mounting holes the entire plate can be slide sideways on the track to fit better in tight places. The Nano does have its limitations. We recommend using one of our double anchor plates any time you need to attach items which will have excessive forces placed on them (such as when trolling for fish over 20lbs, or when using rod holder extinctions of more than 2.5). We won’t be stopping with the UMP look for information on our Nano Tool holders coming out in May. See more

Mad Frog Gear introduces our newest Liberator, the Nano. The Nano, the smallest Transducer Deployment Arm (TDA) Platform, that still allows for the complete movement of the TDA , both up and down and side to side. This motion let’s you raise your transducer up to safety and still keeps it out of your way. The Nano locks onto any track system with a single anchor point...
