We are still in deload, but here’s your reminder to carry more weight! Grocery bags. Backpacks. Suitcases. Kids. Kitchen appliances. Pets. You know a lot of the stuff you lug around on the reg are heavier than those 5lb dumbbells accumulating dust in the corner of your living room, right? Most of you are far stronger than you realize. Two days into deload and are you still asking why or just avoiding it completely? Here are some facts on why this is a critical part of our programming
Deload Week is here! So, what does that mean exactly? Deload Week occurs every 13 weeks to cap off the previous 12 weeks of interval-driven strength and conditioning. Within these 7 days, you can expect a weight-free training floor and a consistent 70% pace. Primal... athleticism, agility, bodyweight movements, cardio, and striking are all at play during this uniquely and thoughtfully programmed week. Benefits of Deloading: 1 Repairs your muscle (so they can continue to work and grow for you) 2 Reduces physiological stress 3 Reduces risk of overtraining-related injuries 4 Alleviates your central nervous system (which, make no mistake, is taxed after 12 weeks of Protocol M.A.D.) 5 Allows you to stay in motion without having to abandon training altogether 6 Balances hormonal levels (primarily restoring cortisol and testosterone) No different than our standard training recommendation, plan to attend 4x sessions to optimally benefit. #DeloadWeek #madabolic
