Staff ugly sweater contest for first shift!

One of our maintenance men, Russell, and one of our CNAs, April, made these for the staff.

We’ve been celebrating Halloween the past few weeks. Last week we had our second annual chili cookoff and just like the first one, I was so busy eating chili, I forgot to take a picture. We had a door decorating contest. At the beginning of the month, those who were interested were assigned a door. They worked with their residents and designed a door. Everyone brought their A Game!!!

Big shout-out to First St. Paul Baptist Church and Pastor Derrick Worrell and Damita Hope, former MHR intern, for providing the Sunday employees with a meal. We are very thankful and it was delicious!!!!

On October 2, 2020, we were able to present a showing of the movie of the hit Broadway Musical "Hamilton" to 8 socially distanced, mask wearing, hand washing residents. They really enjoyed the musical and at least two have asked if they could view it again.
