March 16, 2020 At Hercules Living, we build strong communities through exceptional experiences. We take the health and safety of all the members of our community seriously. We know you have questions and want to assure you that we are monitoring the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) closely. With the heightened awareness and public concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as the ongoing seasonal flu virus and common cold, we want to assur...e you that public health and safety concerns are our highest priority. At Hercules Living Communities, we are intentional about striving to provide healthful environments for residents, guests, and our teams to the best of our ability. We are following expert recommendations, including guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Johns Hopkins University Coronavirus Resource Center, the CDC (Center for Disease Control), and local health officials. Beyond simply monitoring the situation, we would like to share the following active measures with our residents: We invite and encourage our residents to use our resident portal to submit payments and work order requests. We request that you use phone calls and/or email to communicate with our on-site team whenever possible. While we have suspended refreshments and in-person resident events for the time being, we are exploring opportunities to continue building community through our on-line digital events. Please reach out to us with any ideas you may have! We encourage everyone to follow the CDC’s guidance on the attached Stop the Spread of Germs flier. We have asked our Teams to abide by this flier’s guidance as well and be especially vigilant about hand washing practices and wiping down common areas and amenities frequently. Hercules Living has suspended Preventative Maintenance visits to all apartments. We will notify you as soon as the schedule can be resumed. Currently, we are handling requested maintenance and emergency maintenance needs according to our standard policies. We will continue to keep you informed as events warrant and we take additional action. During this time of uncertainty and rapid adjustment, we want to acknowledge the incredible efforts of everyone on our Hercules team and all our Residents.
