Attention, attention, everyone! MAK Beauty Institute is celebrating NINE YEARS this week! Come see our wonderful and talented students while we celebrate this huge milestone. Since opening in 2011, our fearless Director, Tatyana, has helped 189 students graduate from Master Cosmetology, Hair Design, and Instructor-Master Cosmetology programs. These students have gone on to be successful business owners, hair stylists, make-up artists, and so much year. ... Just this year we have watched as two of our talented students opened their very own salons and we are so happy to support Kendra Rubin at the Punk and Poet Color Co. and Taylor Griffis The Station Salon. We have over a dozen other graduates with their own studio space: Megan Caprio, Kristine Grabovska, Kayleigh McIntosh, Gabriele Misin, Aradhana Nagarkar, Tabitha Oxley, Laci Parrish, Anna Tsuckerman, Melissa Urquidez, Iuliia Voronina, Hana Brisuda, Christiane Carvalho, Farjana Nasrin, and Kelsey Liff. In 2020 alone, we welcomed 763 new clients into both locations of our school, despite having to shut down during the height of the Coronavirus pandemic. Even with the closure, our students performed 7,935 services in 2020 alone! 2020 was certainly one for the books with many challenges: hybrid learning, reduced salon floor availability, new regulations set in place, and adjusting to our new normal, but our students have not stopped bringing joy to our clients with the talent they exhibit every day. Congratulations to all of our graduates, almost graduates, current students, and future students! And thank you to the Forsyth and Cumming communities for your continued support during these difficult times. Please join us TOMORROW, for our official celebration when our profits will be donated to CASA of Forsyth County. It is our aim to help others whenever we can!
