Dog bather wanted for busy pet spa. Experience preferred but will train if person shows true passion. Must be okay with bathing and drying dogs, cleaning cages, keeping drying and bathing area clean, handling large breeds, and various other kennel responsibilities.

Teddy bear or doodle puppy? Cooper here was the perfect example of love and patience. When we tried to get him out of the cage he would growl and go to bite. With time, he came out on his own and we leashed him to put him in a room instead. Still a puppy, Cooper was not by any means being agressive- he was so confused the only way he knew how to respond was by growling and nipping if necessary. We did not "fire" Cooper, we did what any good groomer should do: we went slow. Af...ter his bath and blowout it came time for grooming, and he was curled up in a little ball under a chair. His groomer (myself) sat on the floor, and talked to him to let him no he was safe. At one point, I even found myself lying on the ground completely, just so he saw me as less threating. After about 5 minutes, he would come out to say hi and run back to his hiding spot. In another five minutes, he was wagging his tail and licking me while he sat in my lap. He was perfect to groom! He even growled at our fellow groomers when they came into the room, but everytime I personally went in, I would greet him the same. We tell everyone at MPS that we want your dog to love us, and we mean it- we love them as family. We always give 110% to our dogs, no matter the case. Happy Holidays to you all!
