Rotary Club of Marietta

Rotary Club of Marietta turned out in full force yesterday to honor the students enrolled in Marietta High School's Evening School Hours (MESH). We grilled dogs and burgers and served all the accoutrements to these dedicated young people. They attend MESH due to circumstances, mostly the need to work during the day to support their families, keeping them from attending during a regular school day. KUDOS to them for putting priority on their education!!

Great week for Rotary Club of Marietta! Our fabulous guest speaker was Colonel Barry Simmons with the Georgia Army National Guard! We are also HOT, HOT, HOT with our annual fundraising to support our Feeding the Tummies & Minds of Marietta's Children! Won't you, too, give?!? Please join in making our world better with RCoM!

February may've been dreary for some, but not us with Rotary Club of Marietta! Marietta Rotarians hard at work helping Santa today! Fun times had by all selecting gifts for our party this week for the children in the Franklin Gateway Neighborhoods.

Rotary Club of Marietta was honored to host our weekly meeting on Veteran's Day. We were able to salute our members who have served, and after our meeting we distributed 150 comfort care packages to Vets throughout our community. Thanks to collaboration between the Marietta Housing Authority, Zion Keepers Ministry, Cobb County Veterans Court, and Cobb Thanks You for Your Service!
