At the first and last pep rally of the year, the Marist School community came together in Hughes Spalding Stadium for some friendly competition between the grades (go, Father Ralph!) and Marist’s own version of The Masked Singer, complete with a student panel of judges guessing the voice and identity of the Wally-the-War-Eagle-costumed singing teachers. The pep rally concluded with the singing of the alma mater led by the Class of 2021. What an amazing year it’s been, Marist Fam! #MaristTogether

Let the Spirit Week 2020 festivities begin! This year’s theme is Look on the Bright Side and will culminate with grade level color wars and the Homecoming varsity football game on November 13. Group A kicked off the BRIGHT fun, dressing up as something that starts with the letter assigned to each respective grade (B= 12th; R= 11th; I=10th; G=9th; H=8th; and T=7th). Looking forward to the fun ahead! #MaristFam #MaristTogether

Power is out at school this morning and is likely going to be out throughout the weekend. Because of widespread outages that would make virtual teaching and learning a challenge for many, school will be closed for the day with no virtual learning. We hope you each enjoy a relaxing, blessed weekend.

The National Weather Service has placed Atlanta under a Tropical Storm Warning, and Hurricane Zeta is expected to bring heavy rain and high winds to our area overnight and in the early morning hours. Due to the potential for flooding on Marist School's campus and to allow for improved driving conditions, we will have a late start tomorrow, Thursday, October 29. Health screenings will begin at 9:30 a.m., and classes will begin at 10 a.m. Marist Fam: Stay safe!
