If you think that you may not be able to buy a home, because you were laid off due to Covid 19, THINK AGAIN! You may be at an advantage when you go back to work and apply for a mortgage. I have heard from a reputable source that some lenders will just require a letter from your employer that you are back full time. Since many folks have received more in stimulus money, unemployment and the extra $600 per week than they did when they were working prior to Covid 19, that money they saved and put in the bank is useable for down payment. Great news for those that didn’t squander their money away!
