Alhamdulliah, an event for the community during the Holy month of Ramadhan 2020. May Allah increase us all in closeness to Him.

Masjid Sidq wa-Ikhlas Atlanta 21.12.2020

We have a Blessed and special guest visiting the Zawiyya today for Jummah prayer. He is Shaykh Zakaria al-Alawi al-Sharriff. A blessed grandson of the Messenger of Allah (SAW). His noble grandfather was Sharriff Babana al-Alawi. Sharriff Babana is the person who ‘triggered’ the opening of the Salatul Fatih and Tijani Tariqa in West Africa. I use the word ‘Trigger’, because he was the person that was told in a vision that Shaykh Muhammad al-Hafiz (The companion of Mawlaana Sha...ykh Ahmed al-Tijani), ‘had a gift’ for him. So, he asked Shaykh Muhsmmad al-Hafiz for that ‘gift’..... from there, the gift of Tariqa Tijaniya was spread throughout West Africa and subsequently the worlds... Shaykh Ibrahim has advised his followers to show the greatest honor and respect to the noble family descendants of the Holy Rasullulah. He would host them, give them gifts and exalt them whenever the opportunity arose. So, we must follow the footsteps of our beloved teacher. Please come out to greet and welcome the beloved Sharriff. Jummah prayer, Zikr Jummah & evening Wazifa Zikr schedule. The Zikr Hailalah, then Maghrib prayer and after that the Wazifa schedule is as follows: Jummah Prayer- 1:45pm Hailalah Zikr - 5:45pm Salatul Maghrib - 6:20pm Wazifa - 6:30pm Sharp All are welcome.

Day of a Mercy in the Name of the Mercy to Mankind. Salaamualaikum Family, As some of you may know, it is the Sunnah to name a new born child on the 7th day after birth. Shaykh al-Islam al-Hajj Ibrahim Niasse therefore instituted the celebration of the Mawlid on the 12th of Rabiul Awwal but also the celebration of the (2nd) Mawlid on the 17th of Rabiul Awwal to commemorate the day the Prophet was named by his blessed parents. ... Masjid Sidq wal Ikhlas would like to follow this tradition of Baye Niasse and celebrate the Gamuwat (Naming Ceremony/Aqiqa) of the beloved Prophet as well, here at our Zawiyya. But instead of a Mawlid event like we just did a few days ago, we are asking community members and friends from the Atlanta area to bring their old and unused winter clothes, Jackets, socks and blankets to the Zawiyya starting today, so that we can do a winter clothing & blanket drive for the homeless of the city. We will begin collecting today. There are bins by the stairs of our Masjid where the clothing can be dropped off. On Saturday night after Isha a number of us can go downtown and distribute to our homeless brethren there. Please give whatever you can, the temperature is going to be deathly cold this week and there are entire homeless families out there in the streets. Our Niyaat (Intention) will be for the reward of this charity to be our Hadiyya (Gift) to Rasullulah on the day he was named. Please share this message on your pages and in your personal circle of family and friends. May Allah give us Allah, because of our obedience and love for His Beloved. Amin Items can be left at: Masjid Sidq wal-Ikhlas 1677 Dorsey Ave East Point, GA 30344
