Mason-Grey won the 50/50 and donated the prize to Executive Director Pat Nelli. Together with other donors, nearly $6000 was raised that week just days before the COVID-19 lockdown. This year, with renewed hope, we want to do what we can to help this year’s Charity Drive. Five charities, each sponsored by an ISPE-CaSA Committee, need your donations to sustain their vital missions.

On March 10, 2020, ISPE CASA hosted the Life Sciences Technology Conference in Raleigh. While exhibiting, all participants carefully avoided handshakes and other protocols were in place to ensure that we could successfully complete this event. Little did we know how much things would change in the few days we were in Raleigh. As we headed home after a very successful conference, the plane was nearly empty and we could sense that life was changing quickly. ISPE Life Sciences i...n 2021 will be a virtual event, but we are in good company with other leading companies that support Life Sciences in the US. What a year... As the new year approaches in the hours ahead, we need to look back at 2020 knowing that we've all endured so much and suffered loss. Our employees, clients and suppliers have all been part of this path, and we give thanks to all that they have done. During the past year, we've: - assembled a supply chain team that is tackling difficult challenges to bring to market a COVID-19 vaccine; - helped numerous food industry clients reduce operating costs by efficientl...y utilizing consumables to help meet burgeoning demand; - helped all of our employees by paying all W2 employees bonuses; - and, worked with a key vendor to reduce 2021 healthcare premiums for our employees by 24% while enhancing our Employee Assistance Program. We all look forward to a brighter horizon in 2021, and wish all a Happy New Year.

COVID-19 is presenting unique monitoring challenges to process industry sites nationwide. Another Mason-Grey System Monitor went live at our latest client site just yesterday morning, installed by local personnel at the SC plant with a simple power (120VAC) and CAT5 connection, then configured remotely by Mason-Grey personnel. For the cost of a service call (travel and engineering costs), this location is already gaining huge insights into the operation of the pumping and tank systems at the site by implementing the System Monitor. Yesterday, Thursday, April 23rd, HERO LOVE, an initiative to feed first responders throughout the Metro Atlanta Area, got underway by delivering meals to 220 fire and emergency personnel over all three shifts.
