Guess who's back, back again... for week 3 of #Smoking101. MEAT: New to smoking? Start out with these meats: chicken wings, chicken thighs, pork ribs (baby back or spare), pork butt, pork tenderloin, beef tenderloin, or ribeye steak. RUBS: Check out our go-to dry rubs for chicken, pork, and beef.
Solid gold. Chicken wings crisped to golden perfection. #FryDay #ANewWayToGameDay INGREDIENTS Cooking oil (recommend peanut oil) 2 lbs. Chicken Wings... 1 cup of soy sauce 1 tbsp black pepper 1 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper INSTRUCTIONS 1. Fill the fryer with oil to the max line, heat to 375F (est. 15-20 mins) 2. Place wings in a large bowl. Cover with soy sauce, cover, and chill for 1 hour. 3. Drain, pat dry with paper towels. 4. Place wings in the basket, lower into the fryer, cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally. 5. Remove wings from the fryer, place in a single layer on paper towels. 6. In a small bowl, combine pepper, garlic powder, cayenne pepper. Sprinkle over wings, turning to coat both sides.
