Story Time This one is very special to me. A few years ago my step dad suffered a major stroke. He was in and out of the ICU for a month before he was released from the hospital. It was shortly after that we all decided to move closer to family, in Georgia. Let me tell you, my mom hated it! She said it was nothing like Miami and she wanted to eventually move back. Fast forward to the beginning of the year my mom came to me and said Your grandma and I want to buy a house..., where do we start? My first question was, in Florida or Georgia? She told me in Georgia. This caught me off guard because she has always talked about moving back to Florida and purchasing there. We searched for a short month before she said, this is the one! She loved the area, the price, and most importantly, the fact that it’ll be brand new! We went under contract at the end of April and waited patiently for the build process to complete. I say patiently because if any of you know my mother, she’s quite the opposite of patient! FINALLY! August came and the wait was over! I got a call from the other agent saying, we have some dates for you! I had to make sure my mom was sitting down for this one! The long wait was over and it was time to go new home shopping! A HUGE congratulations to my mom and grandma on the purchase of their brand new home!! And a special shoutout to my mom! She’s the definition of a hardworking woman who never gives up! I’m so glad they chose me as their agent! Cheers to the new memories that you’ll make in your lovely new home!
