Job Summary: Pull orders for shipment. Stage, load, and unload finished product and raw materials. Stock and maintain warehouse inventory. Prepare shipping documents. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Package finished products for shipping. 2. Prepare shipping documents.... 3. Stage finished product for loading. 4. Load finished product onto truck. 5. Move raw materials and/or finished product from truck. 6. Move raw materials and/or finished product to warehouse storage. 7. Move waste from warehouse to dumpsters. 8. Quality checks receiving and shipping. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in. 9. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis. 10. Operate (PLT) forklift, picker, and other warehouse equipment as needed. 11. Complete daily log as required. 12. Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on forklift, trucks, and other warehouse equipment. 13. Communicate well with other warehouse, manufacturing, and office personnel. 14. Clean and maintain work area. 15. Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use. 16. Other duties as assigned. See more

General responsibilities include inspecting and cutting rugs to size and other related products. Loading/unloading trucks, putting up stock, keeping warehouse and work area clean and other general manufacturing work as assigned by the supervisor. Rug Cutter is responsible for performing this job in a quality and productive manner. Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. * Perform production duties including manual liftin...g, measuring, cutting, and packaging of area rugs and other floor covering materials. * Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. * Maintain a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, etc. REQUIREMENTS * Knowledge of and experience using a tape measure * Experience and agility using a power or manual carpet knife on textile products * Good mathematical skills * Detail and action oriented * Reliable; have responsible work habits * Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually * Able to maintain the production pace of the other team members * Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
