Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock visited the J.D. Irving, Limited facility yesterday. After a brief presentation, Senator Warnock, along with Mayor Lester Miller, took a tour of the facility to see the full magnitude of their tissue manufacturing facility here in Macon. The Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority held their May board meeting yesterday afternoon. The Industrial Authority has incredible women doing amazing work for Macon+Bibb County . Amy Tarpley, Finance Director for the Industrial Authority, was one of the few chosen for the Downtown Rotary Club Hidden Hero award for her incredible work at Brookdale Warming Center. Although she did not win the award, so many individuals and families have benefited from her work and she has brought a resource to Macon-Bibb County that was much needed....
