Profess you’re faith If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame. For there is no difference between Jew and Gentilethe same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, fo...r, Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:9-13 NIV This passage gives us the blueprint to salvation. No one is exempt to this promise. Believe through faith in your heart. Through the power of the Holy Spirit we have no fear or shame & confess out loud what God has done in our lives. We should speak from our mouths & through our confession others can witness what has happened in our life and they will be exposed to the great works of the Lord. Use the mighty power of the tongue to speak encouragement into someone’s life so that they may also be saved by the Grace of God. LK

Unknown darkness into unknown light He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings utter darkness into the light. Job 12:22 NIV... In this book we learn that Job is a good and descent man in the eyes of God. Job is a wealthy man living in a land called Uz with his large family and extensive flocks. He is blameless and upright, always careful to avoid doing evil. Much torment comes to Job in his life. But through it all Job remains faithful to his belief in God. A few of Job’s friends speculated and tried to say why they thought Job was going through this affliction. One even blamed Job for doing evil things and suggested that he was probably being punished. Neither of them had the answers. One thing about God, we don’t know why he does things or why he allows anything to happen. Job was tested by Satan with God’s permission. We don’t know why He allowed this. Job was in a dark place, he suffered great loss and even physical pain. His faith was tried and tested but even tho he grew weary he remained faithful, even when his wife suggested that he give up on God and die he remained faithful and believed there was light at the end of his trials. Eventually Job was brought out of his unknown darkness and entered into unknown light. God restored his health, 2x the property he once had, blessed him with more children after the death of his first 10 and also blessed him with extremely long life. Just like Job we can not explain why we are going through the things that we are going through. That is God’s business. God suggests that people should not discuss divine justice since God’s power is so great that humans cannot possibly justify his ways. Remain in faith and believe that God will bring us out of the unknown darkness and into the unknown light. LK

Speak up! Proverbs 31: 8-9 Open your mouth for the speechless, In the cause of all who are appointed to die. Open your mouth, judge righteously, And plead the cause of the poor and needy.... In this verse the instructions from the King to his son were clear: defend the defenseless. Our Lord is very concerned for the needs of those who don’t have as much as another and those who are not treated fairly as others might be treated. Often, the Lord uses those who have to give to those who have not. As Believers it’s our obligation to speak up for those who can’t, to give to those who need, to help the helpless, be generous in situations where we can lend our time or voice, to support justice for those who are treated unjustly. Jesus chose us, you & me, to be His hands and feet and bless those people with His love and provision. We defend the defenseless not because it’s easy, simple, friendly, fun, or popular. Instead, we do it because we have been brought from darkness into light by the lavish grace of God the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ. LK

Abound in hope Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 NKJV Abound: ... 1. to occur or exist in great quantities or numbers 2. to be rich or well supplied 3. to be filled God is the only lasting source of hope that we have in this life. In this verse Paul makes a request from God for the Christians in Rome. Paul asks that the God of hope fill these believers with all joy and peace "in believing" or as they trust in Him. In other words, Paul is not asking God to simply dump joy and peace into their hearts without cause. He is asking that as these believers trust in God, their faith will bring joy and peace to their hearts. In other words, help them to keep believing so that they can experience joy and peace. Finally, we know that at times we can feel hopeless but a special request has been issued to give you a place of contentment on your journey. Paul asks that they might have this joy and peace in believing so that they may abound with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Paul is asking God to give them more than just regular human hopefulness. He is asking for supernatural, Holy Spirit-powered hopefulness. LK
