McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University 07.06.2021

Dr. C. Gregory DeLoach is appointed dean of School of Theology. I believe in and support the work of McAfee School of Theology, a commitment I made when it was founded in 1996, Dr. DeLoach said. In this new role I am honored and privileged to work with outstanding students, dedicated staff and inspiring faculty, as we live more fully into our vision to change the world through learning, serving and leading. https://den.mercer.edu/dr-c-gregory-deloach-appointed-dean/

We join the chorus of countless McAfee faculty, staff, and alumni who are mourning the loss of Rev. Dr. Melissa Browning. Dr. Browning began as an adjunct professor in 2012 before serving as McAfee’s Visiting Professor of Contextual Education from 2016 - 2018. In total, Dr. Browning taught in the areas of ethics, missions, local ministry, with a special passion for community development. Her impact can be witnessed through the lives and ministries of her students, colleagues, friends, and loved ones. Please join us in praying for Wes, Olivia, and their family.

Celebrating McAfee student, Louis Negron, and his new position with the 100 Black Men of Atlanta! "Mercer came into my life when I was really searching for a spiritual connection and redefining who I was as a man. It offered me an opportunity to redefine my spiritual goals, my spirituality, and gave me a chance to question and look at the foundation where religion comes from. https://den.mercer.edu/theology-student-continues-dedicati/
