I picked up on a great idea. I would like for 52 of you to share a favorite Bible verse with me. I will write your name and verse down in my 2021 calendar, one ...each week. The church I pastor will commit to pray for you on your Sunday and daily during the week. Also, I will read your verse each morning of that week for my personal devotion. Please let us pray for you! Question: What if God told us exactly what He wanted for Christmas? Every year, during this season, we search our memory banks about the times our loved ones me...ntioned something they liked or wished they had. We all have made a mental note to remember during the next year to watch and listen more carefully for those hints or wishes to be able to show our love and thankfulness for having certain ones in our lives. We worry and search for that special gift in order to make this year the greatest Christmas ever. Our mind searches timelessly then finally settles in on that one moment when we know we found it and how excited we are going to be when it is opened. If we are not careful we will get caught up in the excitement of giving to others that we forget Whose birthday it is we are celebrating. I wonder what God would want for His birthday? I often pray and ask Him that very thing during this season, don't you? What if God told us, would we give it? I mean what could He possibly want? He has everything already, right? I'm not so sure...... How far would you be willing to go to find the present God asked far? How much would you spend? How long would you be willing to take to find it? What could you give Him in exchange for Him coming thru this year for you, protecting you, guarding you, keeping you, and yes, securing a loved one into His physical arms? What could you possibly give? I found what He said He wanted and I am so excited to give it, to sense Him opening it. Ready? Proverbs 23:26 "My son (daughter) give me thine heart, AND (two packages we get to give), let thine eyes observe my ways" Are you willing to give Him what He asked for? Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Lord!!!!

This breeze outside was so cool we decided to go on our patio and call on the name of Jesus through song! Enjoy our duet, even though my husband Perry didn’t... need my help!
