OLD HISTORIC FRIENDSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH: Gone, but not forgotten. . . .

THE NEW EDIFICE FOR HISTORIC FRIENDSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH, now located on Walnut Street, not far from the old location on Mitchell Street. It was in the basement of the Old Church that the Atlanta Baptist Seminary, later named Atlanta Baptist College (1897) and Morehouse College (1913), first held its classes in the Gate City when it moved from Augusta, GA, in 1879. Lest we forget.
