Career Day at Woodlawn Elementary this past Wednesday. We had a blast!!!

Georgia honored its fallen law enforcement officers Tuesday, May 18th at the 2021 Georgia Public Safety Memorial Ceremony in Forsyth. The ceremony held at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) recognized the officers who died while on duty in the previous two years as well as previous years’ honorees. Our Deputy Jailer Michaela Smith and family was honored at the 2021 Georgia Public Safety Memorial Service. Governor Brian Kemp delivered keynote remarks. Law enfor...cement agencies from across the state supported and honored those officers, their families and the officers’ agencies. Twenty-nine officers and families were honored at the ceremony.
