From the thirty fast food restaurants tested for the investigation, the ice at three McDonald’s, six Burger Kings and seven KFC locations tested positive for the bacteria. It was reported by Liverpool Echo that four of the samples at Burger King and five at KFC had significant levels,. All three fast food chains have issued statements expressing their efforts to maintain proper hygiene.
