As we analyze our crime trends and adjust our patrolling techniques, we have noticed several areas of concerns that we are seeking your help with. Many of the stolen cars were left unattended and running with the keys in the ignition. High value items like laptops, pocketbooks, gym bags, cash, cell phones, tablets, and even firearms are left in plain sight, unattended, and unsecured. The City of Smyrna is a safe place to live, work, and play; however, crime and crimes of opportunity do happen from time to time. If we work together, we can all help reduce and detect criminal activity from happening.
