Condensers found on today’s trucks are manufactured as a parallel flow style condenser. The condenser has flat tubes with very small passages for refrigerant flow. Thus, it can remove the heat from the refrigerant in a very efficient manner. The passages inside the flat tubes are very small and cannot be flushed. Proper diagnosis of this type of condenser is critical when repairing the A/C system.
