We will be re-opening our store to the public Friday April 17th @ 11am ONLINE ORDERING IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday (11am-6pm)... Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday (CLOSED) To best serve our customers and community, our family at Mia’s European Market has decided to re-open our store on Friday, April 17, 2020. Although we worked so hard to develop the online store, in an effort to continue to serve our customers during this difficult time. We quickly realized that due to the demographics of OUR customers, some of the customers that were not comfortable with the online store or online purchasing were not being served. Therefore, we have already made some operational changes to increase the safety for both our customers and ourselves. We have installed a plexiglass shield at checkout counter, will remind our customers to maintain 6 ft distancing, and not allow too many customers in the store at the same time. To ensure proper store cleanliness and disinfection as well as Mia’s employees to stay healthy, we will be changing our operating days and hours. We will only be open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11am 6pm (closed Tuesday & Thursday, and always Sunday). We regret that we were not able to serve you for your Easter needs last week, but for our Easter European Customers, we are happy that we will be open starting this weekend. We will continue to do all we can to help navigate through these uncertain times until we will return to normal as a business, community and county. After almost 10 years of Mia's European Market serving our community, it's truly sad to go through this COVID-19 crisis. Although we are a grocery store we had to make the tough decision to TEMPORARILY move our store to ONLINE only in an effort to protect our customers. As numbers climb in our community of those infected, we must do the right thing and our part as a small business of "flattening the curve", and encouraging the community to STAY HOME! Keep you and your family ...healthy, keep our hospitals empty, our medical heros not in danger and our community with minimal cases. Again it's not easy driving up and down once busy Buford Dive and seeing empty parking lots. It's not easy hearing from other small business owners their fear and worry of how are we going to get through this. But the hardest thing would be to hear that one of our customers are sick.
