As of tomorrow, February 2, 2015, my law office will merge with the firm of McMillian and Rawlings. The new firm will be McMillian, Rawlings, Davis and Howard, LLP. The new office is located at 120 North Harris Street in Sandersville. It is located directly across from the courthouse. My office phone was down on Friday because of the transfer to the new location; however, my phone numbers will remain the same, 478-553-0001 or 478-553-0002. The phone lines will be active tomorrow.

The office will be closed on Friday, December 12th so that myself and all staff members can travel to the Georgia Dome to watch the Washington County Golden Hawks win another state championship. Go Hawks.

Thanks to everyone who dropped a toy off at the Christmas party. They will go to children who otherwise would have no toys for Christmas.

On Friday, October 10th, my office will sponsor the Homecoming tailgate cookout at Warrior Field for all BOE employees and friends of my law office. The event starts at 6:00 p.m. There will be BBQ, music, and games. Hope to see everyone there.

The email account to my office was hacked. Some people have received an email with the subject line, "Hi, just checking on you." The email contains a link to an unknown site. Please delete any such email if it is received. My office has never and would never send an unsolicited email containing a link to a website. I have someone working on this issue and the email account should be secured within an hour. I am sorry for any problems this has caused.

My office has been busy for the last two weeks with the final prep for a major criminal trial that was held today. I want to thank Todd Yancy, Tobe Karrh, and Gabe Cliett for their advice and research materials. I am very happy that the jury found my client not guilty but I will still pray daily for the victim involved in the case. Trip Fitnzer is a class act and world class litigator. Tomorrow it is back to work on all the things that have been on hold for the last two weeks.
