SCCPSS think that the NAZI way of discipline works! But concrete RESEARCH doesn’t lie! My child WILL NOT be 1 of their statistics! Sometimes we as parents have to take matters into our own hands..... especially when our child is the target, just because the school refuses to meet his intellectual needs. Yes my child is different, as I was! Whatever happened to making mud pies, having to go outside and riding bikes for at least 6+ Hours a day?

Yes, My child is different. He doesn’t like cartoons, doesn’t play video games and reads college books - dictionary, world atlas, DNA, chemistry, inorganic chemistry, planets, weather, Gem stone books, etc from cover to cover several times. He can debate any subject with a person and several college professors have challenged him!... and were befuddled that he knew answers to college book questions. He doesn’t even watch TV! He is doing high school/college math and he i...s only 7 yrs old. I currently homeschool him because our SCCPSS/private schools in Savannah are subpar... and I’m being nice. Highly gifted kids are not valued in our country... such a shame. My son will do something great one day...and Oh I’m sure all those individuals who shunned my son because he was different will be knocking at my and his door going - remember me? Our answer... yes we certainly do. See more

At least this school system got it right! It’s really not rocket science, but for SCCPSS you might as well be talking to a brick wall. The SCCPSS SCHOOL BOARD members are as dumb as a box of rocks.
