Carol Chateau Douglas County Supervision cares for returning citizens and is an awesome volunteer at MCRC and friend. Many who get their freedom from incarceration need some very basic things. Shoeboxes filled with toiletries are helpful. Love in Action by Helping, Connecting and Serving!

MCRC Shoebox Project extended its reach of Toiletries with Georgia Department of Human Services. Wonderful employees who want to make a difference with the folks they service.

A place out of the cold

SPECIAL INVITATION Join us for this evening's Law Enforcement and 1st Responders Appreciation program that we do annually in my district. I'm combining both churches in Douglasville and Newnan and both counties virtually for this year's service. SDA colleagues, a Baptist friend and colleague of mine, local church elders, and a couple of our youth will also participate in the program. Our District Attorney, Solicitor General, other County and City officials, etc., are always i...nvolved in our program to celebrate those who protect and serve. Some will be on with us tonight. This special service could give you some ideas on how you can more effectively engage your local law enforcement agencies. We always provide a delectable meal in conjunction with the annual service, but this year's pandemic changed that a bit. Prayerfully, we'll be back full force next year!
